Matilha, the first 360 degree dance video ever produced in Brazil, registers a performance of 70 dancers, acrobats and parkours using as scenery the emblematic space of Praça das Artes, in São Paulo. The immersive video explores the contradistinction between the rigidity of architecture and the fluidity of the bodies that are released, collide and rest in it.
The project is the result of the partnership between Bijari Studio, the choreographer Diogo Granato and the dance companies Silenciosas + GT´Aime, Mais Companhia and Núcleo de Improviso Cênico.
Original soundtrack: Mathias Landaeus
