The Architecture of (R)exsistence project is a research on informal architectures and equipment in the central region of São Paulo. Analyzing inventions and constructions of clandestine nature in the urban landscape, the project sought to reorient the perception over these demonstrations, which began to be analyzed as creative expressions, resistant to the constraints of the official city, regulatory and standardizer. In these vernacular creations are expressed the polyphony, multiplicity and organicity of the adaptive Brazilian culture. From another perspective, the project sought to reflect about how the improvisation, adaptation and negotiation dialogue with the current artistic practices and vice versa.
