Adeus, Palhaços Mortos! is an adaptation of the work “Petit Boulot pour Vieux Clown” written by the Romanian playwright Matei Visniec. In this show the company Academia de Palhaços performs a critical rereading of its nine years of artistic trajectory in the field of the circus folk theater, from the provocation of director José Roberto Jardim. The show is an ode to the actor's craft and a deep reflection on the philosophical foundations of the artist's career. The public is invited to watch three old clowns doomed to review their ethical and aesthetic choices, in an infinite exercise of reflection on the artist's resilience, the urgency of Art, and the finitude of life.
